production model based on R&D and innovation, the spirit of
entrepreneurship has to be fed and motivated in Turkey. For
this reason, many issues are being discussed such as the
country's education politics, the cooperation of
universities and industry, incentive politics, international
and local examples.

The European Union considers
it strategically to reserve sources to R&D and innovation in
2010 to provide leadership in global competition and carries
out its funding and planning according to this idea. Answers
to the question "What are EU's projects related to R&D and
innovation and how are they implemented?" are going to be
searched. Investment in technology management starts with
R&D activities and the development thereof. Enterprises who
reserve sources for R&D have best chances for success.
