The innovative side of the project is the implementation of dual communication channel usage (AIS + Satellite) between vessels and SC Center. Thus provides lower communication costs to the customer near the continuous (even if the vessel navigates outside of the AIS radio communication range) tracking. Custom developed operator consoles, tailor made software, continuous logging of marine traffic and historical querying are some of the major project functions.

Within the scope of this project;

- three AIS Control stations are manufactured and installed

- monitoring and tracking software is developed and installed

- twenty-five satellite modules developed and installed

- SOCAR SC Center is established and commissioned.

The IT projects started from structural cabling and LAN design to implementing all airport and air navigation systems including airport software parts developed by TAV Information technologies, and finalized with the commissioning and operational readiness phases.

The TAV IT scope of work was to provide the complete and operational AODB (Airport operational Database), FIDS (Flight Information Display System), IX (Information exchange ESB platform), CUTE (Common Use Terminal Equipment), BRS (Baggage Reconciliation Systems), SCS (Structural Cabling System), LAN (Local Area Network), NAVIGATION and ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) INFRASTRUCTURE Systems, and the Car Park for Enfidha Airport. The work included installation, testing, commissioning, Engineering Work, project management and supervision at site, demonstration and warranties for the Systems. TAV IT was the main integrator for supporting the correct and secure message exchange between all related systems.

Telenity worked together with Telecomcell to provide aforementioned USSD services & opportunity to the Saudi Arabia market as seller-contracter and partners. While Telecomcell is acting as the customer of Telenity, Telecomcell & Telenity worked as partners in the end customer (like banks and mobile operators) deployment, testing, acceptance activities.

SLP (Secure User Plane Location Platform) is a server, enabling GSM operators to provide location based services depending on high end SUPL based A-GPS/GPS features of terminals with network and terminal based positioning options. Location of terminals with embedded GPS module can be detected with very high accuracy and the GPS enabled terminal speeds up the position fix with supplied assistance.
