Along with the development of technology, countries have started to focus their investments in physical defence and security systems in the field of cyber security. Attacks and piracy have started to constitute major threats for the virtual world with the growing number of open networks and access to networks. Considering that virtual attacks made to the information systems and strategic authorities of countries constitute much higher disasters than physical damages, the cyber security policies in our country and the investments made into such areas have started to gain on importance. Bilisim Zirvesi’10 will discuss the activities of our country in the field of cyber security, the use of advance technology projects of the defence industry in the field of civil and public issues and the technologies and project exchange with regional countries.
