| Convergence from Enterprise Viewpoint |
Convergence which has taken center stage in telecom within the last decade is becoming a lot more meaningful to end-users, especially giving power to enterprises within the telecom eco-system in that they could now dictate how exactly they want to benefit from it. As convergence technologies first came to life in core networks and made their way towards access points, we shall talk more in terms of convergence solutions and converging services rather than the technology. Enterprises now look at variety of options as how to best integrate communication and information services and fit their business and operational models. Converge will prove to be a platform over which they will increase their value-add while optimizing their investments. In this session, we will look into convergence from the perspective of enterprises and debate potential implications on the telecom industry. |
