Osman Kent - Songphonic Records, Chief Executive Officer

Osman Kent, who graduated from Ankara Ted College and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Birmingham University, has created the first musical graphics program of the world to use in PCs. In UK, his roads crossed with those of Dr. Yavuz Ahýska, and together they founded Benchmark Technologies. Osman Kent sold his company to DuPont Corporation at a price of 12 million US Dolars. He became the Vice Chairman of DuPont Pixel Systems and controlled the company's performance in the field of 3D technologies. Later, he bought back the shares, which he had sold to DuPont and established the company 3Dlabs. One year later, 3Dlabs had created the first 3D technology in the world to be used in PCs. Then he decided to establish a music production company to support young music composers and performers. Thus, with a capital of 2 million US Dollars, Songphonic Records was established. First star of Songphonic Records, of which the mission is to find and to support artists who are both, composers and performances in the field of adult contemporary, Xanda Howe's first album "And How" has been praised by the critics. Osman Kent is considered to be the successor of our worldwide famous music man Arif Mardin.
