e-Health covers the provision of increased access to all functions of information and communication technologies for healing of citizens with health services and the use of qualified, effective and productive services by all stakeholders of the health industry. The e-Health/Tele health event, to be realized within the frame of the Bilisim Zirvesi '08 is a platform at which effective role of the ICT is discussed from all its aspects by individuals, hospitals (the health institution) and the doctors and concerning our sound life in future.

The event is an interactive platform at which for the first time all sections of the society and business world will be informed clearly about Turkey's e-health applications. The event provide and interactive platform and will further present successful examples of technology implementations about how to set up relations between “individuals-hospitals-doctors” with the IT technologies and how individuals can keep their life qualities at requested levels with IT technologies.
In all these issues, effective participation of the Ministry of Health of Turkey, the Social Security Administration, the executives of public institutions, universities and private health organizations and expert physicians, private health insurances, national and international health IT companies and NGOs related to the issue will be provided. Further, successful examples of ICT applications in health will be demonstrated at the conference and the thematic section of the exhibition area of CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia.
